'Soy' or Estoy'?

Many people do have problems differentiating between Soy and Estoy.

The first thing you need to know is that soy is the yo form of the verb 'ser', while estoy is the is the yo form of the verb estar. Both have the same meaning of am.

So you're asking when do you use each? As a matter of fact, soy is used when you're talking about permanent conditions.

ex. Yo soy alto. (I am tall)

In the previous example, soy is used because 'tall is a permanent condition. Look at the following example:

ex. Yo estoy bien. (I am well)

As you can see, estoy is used when you're talking about temporary conditions, or conditions that might change later.

Here are some examples:

Yo soy estudiante.

Yo estoy en mi casa.

Yo soy inteligente.

Yo estoy cansado.

- The Spanish language is used world-wide on the internet

- Spanish is the official language of the UN and its institutions, the European Union, and other international organizations.

As you can see, Spanish is an important language. Why not learn it and be able to communicate with more than 330 million person?

Rezar vs Orar

1.- Rezar: es repetir frases aprendidas y de memoria, en cualquier momento, es decir, sin importar si lo que se repite incansablemente es inherente a las necesidades o sentimientos del penitente en ese momento. rezar es repetir frases aprendidas de memoria dirigidas a muchas personalidaders, más o menos como a chorrocientas vírgenes, chorrocientos santos, habidos y por haber conocidos e inventados etc. en medio de toda esta lista, también se reza Jesucristo y a Dios... Hay rezos aprendidos para todos los gustos...
2.- Orar: Es conversar con Dios, elevar ruegos,. súplicas peticiones, acion de gracias a Dios y solo a Dios en el nombre de Jesucristo, y son palabras nacidas de la necesidad del momento del que ora a Dios. Son palabras nacidas espontáneamnete y reflejan los sentimientos que hay en el momento en el corazón y alma del que se dirige a Dios.
